Global Traffic Network, Inc. is a leading provider of custom traffic and news reports to radio and television stations outside the U.S. The Company operates the largest traffic and news network in Australia, operates eight traffic networks in Canada and has recently acquired the largest traffic network in the United Kingdom. In exchange for providing custom traffic and news reports, television and radio stations provide Global Traffic Network, Inc. with commercial airtime inventory that the Company sells to advertisers. As a result, radio and television stations incur no out-of -pocket costs when contracting to use Global Traffic Network, Inc.'s services.
Australia:
- Largest media network by reach in Australia with radio traffic reports to 79 radio stations in 18 markets; radio news reports to 24 stations in 7 markets; and television reports in to 14 stations in 7 markets.
Canada:
- Presence in eight Canadian markets providing traffic and information reports to 82 radio stations and 5 television stations.
United Kingdom:
- Purchased commercial division of UBC Media PLC (closed March 2009). Provides traffic and travel information to approximately 250 radio stations and entertainment news information to approximately 120 radio stations.
